How do you get to the ac actuator door on a 98 Lincoln town car
It is either on the compressor, the smaller ac line, or the accumulator.
You probably have a faulty temp blend door actuator in the front. It is located directly behind the radio on the front of the AC/heater case.
On The AC Case Inside The Dash
yes there is for the ac it needs a 7.5 and for the cig it needs a 15.
It could be the temperature blend door actuator.
expantion valve. this vehical has two
located between the firewall and the motor on the trans side takes a bit of time and a lot of trouble but you can do it w/o moving the ac lines
Do you mean for directing airflow to the different vents?
Then you will have a bad a/c-heater door actuator located behind the glovebox mounted on the top of the a/c-heater box...............
Check for a slipping drive belt between encine crank pulley and AC compressor pulley.
The actuator is on top of the heat/ac "box" under the dash pad. Accessing it is quite a job but is described at this link. For a semi skilled auto technician plan for 4 hours. http://www.lincolnsonline.com/tech/00020.html
