location of the accesory delay system relay in the module , but unfortunately it just
shows an arrow pointing in the direction of the instrument panel and doesn't show
the exact location of Relay Module # 4 under the dash )

According to the owner's manual , on a 1996 Ford Explorer , the fog lamp relay is located in the engine compartment relay module # 2 along with relays for the front washer pump , blower motor , and high speed blower . It is shown as being in the passenger side of the engine compartment. I'm not a mechanic but after looking with a flashlight I think I finally found the relay box between the air filter housing and the passenger side headlight. (Helpfull)
