Raise the hood and look for the drive belt. The drive belt powers the alternator.
The alternator is driven by the drive belt. Find the belt and follow the routing and you will find the alternator.
A drive belt will go around the pulley on the alternator . If you have a serpentine belt it will drive all the accessories attached to the engine . Alternator , power steering pump , air conditioning compressor etc .

It's not called an alternator. It's referred to as a "Stator". Basically, it performs the same function. However, it's located inside the motor casing. There are a few "mad scientists" who, when the stator failed, chose to find ways to drive a regular automotive alternator and mount one externally.
you have to get ubder the motor and you will find the alternator on the right side above the intermediate drive shaft

because you have the power button turned on,push the button again to turn it off
There is no dip stick you must remove the upper plug by the drain.
