should be low on the exhaust, near the exhaust manifold. Near the left or right tires, sometimes, they can be near the the firewall.
Bank one on the 4.3L would be the drivers side bank of cylinders. Bank one, sensor one, would be the sensor directly after the exhaust manifold on the drivers side.
I need to know the location of the oxygen sensor 3 in bank 1 on a 2000 Chevy Blazer. Is it the one closest to Cylinder Head or closest to the catalytic converter. email address is wcannon@knology.net
It's underneath the vehicle in the exhaust pipe after the cat convertor.

The upstream heated oxygen sensor is located ahead of the catalytic converter The downstream heated oxygen sensor is located behind the converter
The upstream O2 sensor is mounted in the ehxaust manifold The downstream O2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter

The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor on a 2000 Chevy Suburban is located on the very top of the motor. It is all the way to the back of the motor. There is nothing behind it.
That should be the sensor located after the catalytic converter.
Find cylinder one, usually on the driver side. That is Bank one side, then go to the second O2 sensor, which will be the one after the cat converter.
It is in the tank with the pump.
It has 4 of them screwed into the exhaust system/pipes.
