I just went outside to check mine. I found it on the passenger side, under the dashboard, or glovebox, very close to the door. I turned the ignition on, but nothing happened, so I started it up, and turned the fan on, which worked fine. I put my hand under the glovebox area, and could feel the fan working there. If at all possible, check power going to the blower, before changing the motor, to make sure it's not just the switch.
I own a 1994 Isuzu Trooper, the blower moter is located inside the truck under the glove box.
there are resistors located by blower motor. could be open. they control blower speed.
there is a resistor that controls the speed and should be near the blower motor its called blower motor resistor
In the 1999 Trooper the relay is sbove the inside fuses. It is above the fuse door, so that the whole panel by bottom of the driver door must be pulled. Don't know if that helps for 1990. Note: My fuse, relay and motor are good, but no power to motor. added 1/22/2008 The blower motor resistor is located on the housing located on the firewall. This housing is were the blower motor is.
Check blower motor fuse Check to see if blower motor is getting power
I have the same problem. what I do is tap on the heater blower (located below the glove compartment in the corner)which will magically make the fan work or remove the two gold Philip screws that hold the cover and spin the fan manually.
the blower switch itself is located in the instrument panel. it adjust the speed of the blower. the blower resistor, if that is what you are looking for,is located beside the blower motor under the pass. side of the dash
Blower motor speed resistors are generally located close to the blower motor.
Blower motor resistors are usually located close to the blower motor.
beside the blower
the blower is located behind the clove box, you have to remove the clove box to remove the blower.
Blower motor resistors are usually located close to the blower motor.
