I am not sure about a 69 C60 but I am guessing it is not in the standard area, if that is the case, my motor home has it on the Power Steering pump... as I recall,
69 Chevy c60 booster is behind driver side step to get in truck
Master cylinder, located on firewall, driver's side, mounted to the brake booster. A very large circular object about 10" in diameter.
The power brake booster is leaking vacuum and that makes the engine die when the brakes are applied. Replace brake booster.
to the right of the brake booster
The brake light switch relay for your 1997 Chevy truck is located beneath the drivers side dashboard. The brake light relay switch will be above the brake pedal.
The brake fluid reservoir does not have a dipstick.
Yes. As long as they are the same style. Keep Orig. brake booster though unless same motor.
It sounds like a vacuum problem. Either you got a bad brake booster or the vacuum line came loose somewhere or cracked when you changed the booster.
Remove clamp that holds the rode on back of brake booster that hooks to the brake peadle. Then remove the two nuts on the brake booster that holds the mastercylender on the in the inside of truck remove the 4 nuts/bolts that hold the brake booster on then remove brake booster then replace with new one.... P.s. Make sure u pump brakes b4 u move vehicle........ U shouldnt have to bleed brakes unless u undo mastercylender
The brake fluid reservoir is located under the hood, on the firewall, drivers side.
It is located on the drivers side firewall, bolted to the brake booster(large black circular object).
if its a standard/manual truck. slave cylinder would be located on the firewall next to the brake booster, and would take standard dot 3 brake fluid.
Where is the brake light switch for 2003 hd Chevy truck As far as I know, all brake switches are on the top of the brake pedal arm.
