behind the glove box. remove the glove box and there is a ribbed rectangular panel, the cabin filter is in there. diy because i understand the dealer charges around $90 to replace it, (the paper filter is only around $20, activated carbon is $35) and it only takes about 15 minutes to change.
I was informed that the fuel filter shoulf be changed between 90 000km - 100 000km. The fuel filter is situated in the petrol tank and will only need to be changed every 80 000-100 000 km and not with every service...
90 litres of petrol weighs 148.5 pounds.
Remove carpet next to gas petal, near the firewall there will be white plastic, also a vertical rectangle, remove the vertical rectangle, it's Cabin filter is the 1994 Lexus ES300 filter. Follow Lexus 1994 ES300 cabin air filter replacement directions. They both share the same Heater/AC/Air venting system box. Fact: Lexus Cabin air filters back in the 90's were OPTIONAL add-ons (you had to pay more in options for the dealer to slip in a filter) Fact: The Lexus climate air box is what the 3rd gen camry used as the air box (the ES300 was the pricier version of the Camry)
Open the glove box. Remove all items. There are two black pegs holding the glove box in place on the sides. Reach into the glove box and twist the pegs 90 degrees and wiggle them out. The glove box should drop down revealing the door for the cabin air filter to the upper left. Press the tabs on either side of the door and pull out. Slide the old cabin air filter and frame out. Replace the filter in the frame. Slide back in and replace the door. Close the glove box part way and reinsert the pegs. Twist 90 degrees in the opposite direction. Takes 5 minutes max. Great way to do it yourself and save.
They did not have cabin filters back then. Most didn't start using cabin filters iluntil the late 90's.
All of them i think or atleast 90%

The cabin air filter is behind the glove box but you do not remove the glove box to replace it. Remove the kick panel under the glove box by removing two screws (torx 25) and removing the panel. Under it is a black panel with 4 screws in it, again torx 25. Remove the four screws and the panel. The cabin air filter will be one of two types. One about 3/4 inch thick towards the rear or one about 1 and 1/2 inch thick towards the front. The filter is removed by pulling it straight down toward the floor. Only one filter should be installed. The thin one if for cars without IAQS or Interior Air Quality System and the thicker filter for cars with IAQS. To tell which your car should have look at the Air Conditioning Recirc switch on the Climate control panel. Cars with IAQS will have two leds on the Recirc button and cars without will have one.
