WOW WAY TO NAME ALL OF THEM LOL it is the crankshaft position sensor and either knocks sensor or camshaft position sensor First off if you a have a 3.1 it is the KNock Sensor. Crankshaft sensor and cam sensor is on the belt side of the motor. Crank is on bottom behind the big pully and cam is on top(half way up) usually under power steering pump
On the Ford 4.0 liter EFI , V6 engine ( Over Head Valve / pushrod design ) From what I have read , the camshaft position sensor is on top of the camshaft synchronizer , located on the top of the engine , near the centerline , near the rear of the engine . On my 1995 Ford EXPLORER apparently you can't see it until the upper intake manifold is removed
