Look by water pump. It has 2 covered wires and is to the left of water pump, My have to wash motor a little if grease on it but it IS there. Close the pulley half way down the block held on by 1 bolt I believe it is 10mm
I had mine fixed by mrwizzard.com I had to remove it and send it in. cost was about 100 dollars in 2003 for 1991 trofeo dash cluster.

your car key has a chip in it and in the ignition switch there is two connectors that run to a theft safety component. if your key as bent or there is a short it will not complete the circuit and it dose not allow the car to stat.

On the V6 its in the block between the two heads and right behind the timing chain
most likely behind the dash on the right side below the ashtray. I know this because I have an 89 couldn't find the flasher fuse had to brake a part of the plastic to get to it unless you want to dismantel the entire dash.
