It is built into the head light switch.
There is no fuse for the headlights in that truck. The circuit is protected by a circuit breaker located inside the headlight switch.
If there are not "short's to ground", you probably have a faulty circuit breaker for the headlights.
You need to periodically replace the headlights on your Chevy truck when the headlights start getting dim. You can purchase replacement headlights from retailers such as Parts Source.
The headlights are a separate circuit from the others. Check the bulbs, headlight switch, Hi/Low beam switch and depending what year you have check the fuses.
where is the power window circuit breaker located on a 1999 GMC Serria 1500
There are fuses under the hood and on the driver side end of the dash. Not sure what "the breaker" is.
There are many online retailers that stock replacement bulbs for Chevy truck headlights. You can purchase such an item from sites such as AutoAnything, Amazon and Auto Zone.
even if you disconnect the battery the headlights stay on????????????? check the headlight switch
move the wiper connection around while somebody presses on the brake if brake lights come on replace circuit board to wipers my 94 chevy 4x4 did that found by accident 3yrs later was about to trash the truck
You can only do this in park ... Turn off your truck ,apply the parking brake and turn your truck back on .
No just 2 on high beam and 2 on low beam.
The headlights are on a circuit breaker and the breaker is not bad. It's doing what it's supposed to do. Youv'e got a short or bad ground some where. Check to see if one head light is dimmer than the other. Good place to start. Good luck.
