To adjust the clutch on a 2002 Hyundai Elantra the fluid needs to be bled. Taking a tube and container filled partly with clutch fluid place one end to the tube on the release valve located on the slave cylinder and another in the container. Pump the clutch pedal and keep the reservoir full, this will rid the clutch lines of any air creating a stiffer pedal.
DOT 3 BRAKE FUILD
A person has to use the right type of fluid in a vehicle to help it run its best. The 2002 Mitsubishi eclipse RS uses DOT3 brake fluid as clutch fluid.
The clutch operates off the brake fluid reservoir...Fill the brake fluid
through the clutch inspection cover. The Primary and transmission share fluid.
it is located on right side of the engine
brake fluid resivoir. just make sure you use DOT 4 brake fluid.
There is only window washer solvent container - it feeds both front and rear.
adjust it correctly, use stock primary fluid and make sure the fluid level is correct.
You CAN'T. There's NO adjustment. It has a hydraulic clutch slave cylinder. If the clutch master cylinder is full of fluid and there are NO leaks then it is TIME for a clutch replacement. The clutch disc and pressure plate are worn out. Replace as needed....
The Transit Rider was created in 2002.
have someone mash the clutch while you are under the truck looking at the cylinder to see if its moving, if no movement undo the line and hold your thumb over it and have someone mash the clutch to see if brake fluid squirts out, if no fluid squirts out, replace the clutch master cylinder
