I cannot specifically say for that car but they are usually located under the hood and close to the firewall to where the steering column come through. Pop your hood and look around the firewall (the plate of steel that separates the engine compartment from the inside of the car). You should see it there somewhere, there is no reason for it to be tucked away anywhere. Directly above where the steering column is there should be the brake master cylinder. The clutch master cylinder should look like a smaller version of it and be located int he same general area.
Master Cylinder for brake and clutch are located next to the ABS unit on the firewall of the driver side in the engine bay. Slave cylinder for clutch is located on the bottom of the transmission.
The Clutch slave cylinder is located on the passenger side of the bellhousing.I recommend to replace the Clutch Master cylinder also;if either one is replaced , the other will fail in no time.
Under the hood at the top right corner. The brake master cylinder is also there, but the clutch is the smaller of the two.
If it ain't the clutch itself then its prob. your slave or master cylinder.
If it does not have a Hydraulic clutch, then it has no fluid. If it has a Hydraulic clutch the clutch master cylinder is normally located on the firewall, driver's side, near the brake master cylinder.
Check your clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for leaks,if no leaks, then you need a new clutch kit.
master cylinder on the gearbox vr6
Look for leaking fluid at the slave or master cylinder.
The clutch gets its fluid from the master brake cylinder reservoir. The master clutch cylinder sits just below the master brake cylinder reservoir and is fed fluid by gravity.
On the firewall next to the brake master cylinder.
Answer: Normally located down by clutch arm (that sticks out between the engine and transmission). How do you locate it? The clutch pedal depresses a clutch master cylinder on the firewall (driver side). Follow the hose line down to the where the clutch arm is located. NOTE: don't get the brake master cylinder and clutch master cylinder confused, its easy if you do not work on cars regularly.
look at the right side of the firewall.
