If you are talking about the computer? It's located down under the dash on passenger side (right side just ahead of the door panel) called the kick panel. There is also one for the ABS system (behind the back seat in the trunk and the air ride system (located just ahead of the switch for it in the trunk) too. If you are talking about something with the ignition that one is on the distributor called TFI module.
Possibly a bad module it is located on the side of the distributor. Could also be a bad coil or just the wiring to either the coil or the module. Hope this helps Mark VII Heaven
the module should be located either in the panel of the trunk (on left or right side behind a panel along with the computer)..HIGHLY likely..or it is behind the glove box..i will ask my father and get back to you with the EXACT answer..he's a mechanic and owns a 86 mark vii lsc.. It is located behind the spare tire in the trunk. You may have to remove the interior panel behind the tire to gain access.
are you asking about the eec relay that controls electronic engine control module or you asking about the starter relay on left fenderwell near the air compressor the eec controls fuel injector pulse and powers the ecm if car cranke the eec is located on right side near firewall
The Body Control module is located under the instrument panel on the drivers side. It is attached to backside of the fuseblock/junctionblock two of the three connectors can be seen under where the fuses are. It is a metal box 5 1/2 inches X 7 3/4" X 1.5 ".
Passenger side up under the glove box. First disconnect the battery. Control module is located behind the blower motor. You may have to remove the blower to get to the module. Unplug the motor before doing so. The wires that you unplug from the blower will go straight to the control module. You will have to contort yourself to get up under there to get to it but be patient and you will get it. There are 3 7/32 screws holding it in place. The back one being the toughest to get to because there is a firewall/guard in place but it can be pushed backwards to get to the last screw. Hope this helps you out. As i am writing this I am replacing mine as well on my 97 vette.
There are 3 of them, 2 up front on the lower control arms and the other one is on the rear located on the passenger side of the diff cover on top...
It is located inside the distributor. You must remove the distributor cap to access it. There are two 7/32" cap screws securing it on top of and at the back of the rotor base plate.
where is the starter relay located on a 1990 Lincoln mark 7
the module is under the three coils. On a 1988 if you look down by the rad on the motor it is there three 13mm bolts to remove then 8 7/32 bolts to take the coils then reverse (and of course your plug-in and plug wire) be sure to mark your firing order if you do not know it
on my 88 it's on the outside of the distributor. pull the plug then remove 2 mounting screws. then pull straight down. need 1/4 inch drive 7/32 deepwell socket.
