It should be in the fuse panel under the hood.
The fan relay will be located in the PDB box in the engine compartment. The relay is controlled by the coolant temp sensor and the computer. Hope this helps.
The 2000 Plymouth Voyager 2.4 liter engine radiator cooling fan relay switch can be found in the fuse box. The relay switch will be in the third column, fourth from the top.
If you are laying on your back looking up, then the relay for the radiator cooling fan is located on the chasis just to the left of the fan. It is to the front right of the front tire on the driver's side.
relay is located on right side firewall. 1 of 4 in a row
The coolant fan relay on a 1988 Chevy Celebrity with 2.8L V6 is on the radiator support bracket behind the right hand headlights.
I had a 96 model, and I think (as far as I can remember) it was under the fan unit case.
The engine computer uses the readings from the engine coolant temperature sensor and AC pressure to decide when to run the fan. The engine computer activates a relay that is mounted under the air cleaner box to power the fan. The engine coolant temperature sensor is located next to where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
on a 1999 jeep grand cherokee where is the coolant fan relay
from what i am told the fan relay is some where on the intake manifold most likely on the driver side
The fan relay turns the radiator cooling fan on and off. The most common location for this relay is mounted on the front left frame rail.
I assume you are asking about the coolant fan. The switch is a relay located on the radiator support bracket on the passenger side of the vehicle. There is also a fuse near the relay. The engine control module, computer, operates the relay. There is a temperature sensor at the bottom of the thermostat housing that the engine control module reads the coolant temperature from. Any of those being defective can cause the coolant fan not to work. Of course the fan itself can also be defective as well as any of the associated wiring. The coolant fan should be turned on when the coolant temperature reaches about 220 and will stop when the temperature is below 200. l
If you are talking about radiator fan relay, then it is in weird location which is under the fan unit.
