the coolant sender is located at the back of the head 2to 3 inches down,very difficut to get to to and undo
On a Vauxhall Cavalier Ecotec 2.0L, the timing marks are located on the front of the crank pulley. It is marked under the cam.
If it is the 2.2 ecotec engine, it is located on the spark plug cover withe ecotec logo on it. It is a little square with wires and heat fins on it.
if you have the 2.2 liter ecotec engine, they are located right on top of the engine, they are located under the top black piece that says ecotec on it.

The thermostat is located in the right corner of the car, there will be a connection that has a y-split look to it. It allows the coolant to go into the block. When replacing this, make sure to buy the thermostat and new gasket (sold separately). You must perform this by draining the coolant out of the system first, while engine is cold, because the system is under 15 psi.
They are located below the black plastic where you see the "ECOtec" logo on the engine top. You have to remove screws and pull out the ignition coils to see the spark plugs. By the way GM's 2.2 Ecotec use direct ignition, so there's no spark plugs wires.
Located on the head of the engine, at the end of the intake or exhaust cam.

The clutch bleed valve on a 2.2 liter Chevy Ecotec engine is located on the slave cylinder. To find the slave cylinder remove the battery, as it is mounted underneath the battery tray.

GM Ecotec family engines have timing CHAINS, not belts.
On the back side of the block. The water pump is on the passenger's side, and the thermostat housing is on the driver's side. It's located under the exhaust manifold.
