On my 90' 4.0l,it is located on the drivers side of the lower enine block, just above the motor mount. This is a 2 wire lead, there is also a coolant sending unit located at the back driver side of the head, this will be a single wire feed going to your gauge or idiot light, the 2 wire lead unit in the block is feed for the computer. Hope this will help!!!!!! Carl
The engine coolant temperature sensor and coolant temperature gauge sender are located on the passenger's side of the engine, under the intake manifold.
The 1992 Ford F2 50 pickup truck 5.8 liter engine coolant temperature sensor can be found on the top of the engine. The coolant temperature sensor will be near the intake manifold.
The coolant sensor is also the temperature sensor, it can be found on the head under the distributor for 1.5 liter Civic motors prior to 1992.
The ECT (Electronic Coolant Temperature) sensor is located under the intake manifold on the driver's side on a 1995 Taurus SHO 3.2 liter. It is on the cylinder head.
it's on the intake manifold.
The coolant temperature is measured by the sensor that is screwed in to the engine next to where the upper radiator hose attaches.
Te 2000 F150 does not use a coolant temperature sensor. The engine uses a cylinder head sensor close to the head back to check the temperature.
Next to the thermostat housing.
Check your fuse, and your coolant temp sensor. The coolant temp sensor is more than likely the problem
Two wire sensor very near where the upper radiator hose hooks to the engine.
sensor for water temp is in water pump on front of engine, has two wire plug going to it.
The coolant temp sensor is located next the the thermostat housing.
