A 1996 Dodge Ram does not use a mass airflow sensor. It has a MAP sensor mounted in front of the throttle body.

The transmission temperature sensor on a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 is located on the driver's side of the transmission. It is just behind the bell housing. Look for a gold plug with a black plastic top.
There is not 1 on that year. They were NOT used untill 1996
In the exhaust, front of catalytic converter.
It is the two wire sensor on the lower rear driver side of the transmission.
That is on the tailshaft housing of the trans on the driver side.
Crank sensor failure. It is located on the front of the engine, points down to the crank pulley.
The crank sensor is located on the bell housing of the transmission on passenger side. You will need an Allen wrench.
