the camshaft position sensor for a 2005 Kia optima four cylinder is located on the right side of the valve cover in front of engine its right under the cover on top of engine you should see it when you pull the cover off it has one bolt 10 mm holding it on and one plug.
i do believe they said CRANKSHAFT SENSOOOOORRRRRR> not camshaft
crankshaft sensor is on passenger side behind the lower timing belt cover right next to the crank pulley. replacing this is not fun. i know, i have done it.
