96 and 97 Corolla and Prizm are the same, but, they have an extra crankshaft sensor, that the 93, 94, and 95 does not have,
the cam position sensor and ignition coil are inside the distributor. the crank position sensor is located on the bottom front of the engine, behind the belts on the left side.
On a '97 prizm with a 1.6 L , it is on the back (cabin side) of the engine near the belts, just above and aiming down at the crankshaft. The lower belt pulley is mounted on the end of the crankshaft. The wires connect higher up near the valve cover. ( 2 wires , connecter is right above it about 6 inches up) 97 prizm 1.6 L automatic transmission w a/c

The Geo Prizm GSi alrady has a 4AGE smallport MAP sensor engine. The other model of Prizms have the 4AFE engine, which would be a downgrade in performance.
The intake air temperature sensor on a Geo Prism would be a part of the air intake system. More specifically, it would be on the engine side of the air cleaner housing.

i have a 1996 Mazda protege and it is at the rear of the transmission if you're looking from the front drivers side. it is almost directly under the throttle position sensor which is located on the rear of your throttle body close to the firewall (almost directly in the center of the engine compartment).
There are a few fuse boxes located on a 1993 Geo Prizm. The main fuse boxes are located under the driver side dash on in the engine compartment.
The thermostat on a 1995 Geo Prizm LSI 1.8 liters is located at the end of the rad hose. Follow the rad hose connected to the engine.?æ
