The crank sensor is located under the engine. It is just behind the pasenger side drive axle up by the oilpan. Disconect the plug and remove 1 bolt.Now the new ones come with new wire harness witch you must purchase extra. About $100 for both pieces.

the crankshaft sensor is above the oil filter on my 00 neon. it has one 10 mm bolt that needs taken out to remove the sensor
