on passenger side behind a big black box of some sort
under the hood Gee, i would have never thought of that... I found the spout for the regular oil, the power stearing and the windshield wash... All I can for for the transmission is the dip stick... Not to be a "Dip Stick" but where does the oil go for the Transmission, surely not in the dip stick hole?
The vehicle speed sensor on Ford E250 is located underneath the vehicle on the transmission beneath the intake mainfold.

Several types of transmissions were available in the 1994 Ford E250. The most common transmission was the five-speed automatic transmission.
A schematic can be found in a 1990 E250 service manual. The manual may be available at the local library. Or, it may be purchased through most auto parts.
No. From 1983-84 Ford used the C3 transmission. A 1990 will not fit.
The Ford Explorer was introduced in 1991. There are no 1990 Explorers to take a transmission from.
The 2002 and newer Ford Explorer 4 door models do not have an automatic transmission dipstick
e40d or 4r100.. being that year model, id say the e40d
Depends on the year of the van but they usually hold 7 quarts
You add the transmission fluid to where you check the level (I think it's on the passenger side when you look under the hood). remove the dip stick and add fluid with a narrow funnel. Check level when engine is running.
