there probably isn't one. Pontiac discontinued trans dipsticks in models earlier than yours.
You have to check the fluid at the fill plug on the trans itself.
usually with the vehicle running and in park then check the dip stick
there is not one
in the trunk or under your back seat
There's probably no dipstick on a Sunfire that new. You need to add fluid at the transaxle itself. There's a plug in the side of the transaxle that needs to be removed to check or fill the fluid.
7 quarts
hell no
My 96 Sunfire has no red cap, it has a regular dipstick. You'll want to find a small funnel. The fluid goes where the dipstick is supposed to be. I would also go to the parts store and get a new dipstick.
Try under the oil cap, oddly enough.
The transmission dipstick on a 1994 Pontiac Sunfire is located on the left side of the engine. It connects to the transmission via a long tube which also allows for adding transmission fluid.

the sunfire auto trans has no drain plug. You must drop the pan.
I have a 1998 Pontiac sunfire gt and it is on the side of the gear shifter (automatic) however, if it is standard then I am unsure.
