check for: Spark Fuel Compresssion
I've been using the multi-vehicle stuff, which seems pretty universal. I was warned against the dexron 3 and mercon flavours, since they are for different brands. ATF + 4 is the recommended type for for Grand Wagoneers with Chrysler transmissions.
Assuming it is automatic, read the dipstick, probably Dextron III.
It is under the battery. It has a little red nipple on the top.
on the 89 jeep grand wagoneer there is a lever on the pasanger side between the seat back and the wheel well. The lever is a flat piece of metal that you pull forward to release the lock. the back will fold down and the whole seat tips forward. I hope this helps
the dipstick is near the back of the engine compartment. Check while at running temp
There isn't one. There is a plug on the side of the transmission that you fill the trans. to. When you reach that level (and, of course, it starts spilling), you're full.
Mercon. Also check the trans fluid dipstick....it's stamped right there on the stick.
no
Fuel pump is located in the engine bay between your power steering pump and timing cover and or water pump it's mechanical
If its an automatic trans, dipstick will be located on the left side close to the fire wall. That is left as your looking under the hood. Should look like a big oil dip stick.
If your standing at the front of the engine it should be in the back left, if it is a stick shift you wont have a a dip stick.
