I am currently working on a 1990 Pont. GP. For all intensive purposes, its pretty much the same car. The GP has no distributor, it is an electronic ignition, so no distributor,no points, but you do have an ignition control module which has 3 coils attached to the front of it( 6cyl. engine) this is where your spark plug wires go. It should be located either on the side or front of motor just above the starter, and just below the exhaust manifold.
good luck

no im pretty sure it has coil packs
how to replace a distributor gasket on a 2000 Pontiac grand am 3.4l
The PCV valve is located under the MAP sensor on a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix. The MAP sensor is in the upper plenum.
if you think your grand am has a distributor, you might think about closing your hood and getting someone else to fix it
The tach should connect to the distributor.
Moisture under the distributor cap from Windy D
yes it should bolt right up as well as the original motor and tranny
it doesnt have a distributor cap. it has a coil pack AND...the coil packs are located under the cover on top of the engine.
follow the top radiator hose to the engine.
