If it is not visible in the door jambs - it may incorporated in the latch mechanism similar to the newer Ford models

It is mounted on a bracket under the dash at the brake pedal. From there it is self explanatory.
the brake light switch is on the top of the brake pedal arm. under dash.

The system thinks that a door is not shut completely. If all of the doors are shut tight, then a door switch is loose or bad.
It depends on whitch tranny you have. If it's a stick the switch is located on the right hand side of the tranny. If an automatic the switch is on the top of the tranny.
