My transmission guy informed me that Nissan Pathfinders do not have a drain plug, that they are a self-contained unit. If you are leaking fluid, your seals need to be replaced

Unfortunately , most automatic transmissions don't have a drain plug in the transmission pan , so the pan has to be dropped with transmission fluid in the pan . Can be quite messy !
