There is no drain plug. The only way to drain the old fluid is to undo the 5/8 bolt[ which is slightly on the drivers side] of the housing and insert a drain hose and suck the old fluid out with a pump. Use this same fill hole to add new fluid with either the new squeeze caps that come with the 32 oz containers of fluid or turn the pump around and pump the new fluid in.
