there isn't one, the transmission is sealed for life and not DIY servicable
They have a sealed transmission you dont have to fill it. The fluid should be changed around 100,000 and it has to be done by a dealer.
There is no transmission dip stick for a 2002 mercury mountaineer, fluid will need to be checked from under the vehicle. There is a fill plug on the transmission, remove the plug and fluid level should be up to the level of the plug hole. This is the only year mercury did this in the mountaineer.
According to the 2002 Mercury Mountaineer Owner Guide :The washer fluid for the rear liftgate is supplied by the same reservoir as thewindshield ( located in the engine compartment )
The transmission fluid capacity, of your 2002 Toyota, is 12 quarts. The manufacturer recommends that you do not over fill your transmission.
you have to put it in the dipstick hole.

Should be a plug on the side of transmission - fill to this level
Same place you check it.
You fill transmission with fluid through the transmission fluid dipstic tube
1992 - 2002 Isuzu Troopers have the GM 4L30E transmission. There is no dipstick. There is no fill tube. The only way to add fluid or check the fluid level of the transmission is through the fill plug in the transmission pan. The transmission fill plug is situated above the fluid level of the "sump" area of the pan. Add fluid by pumping it into the fill plug and let any excess drain out. You'll know it's topped off when the fluid stops pouring out.
The fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the side of the manual transmission underneath the vehicle with the vehicle level
There is a fluid check/fill plug located on the front of the transmission. Add fluid there until it is level with the bottom of the hole.?æ
