there is no way to check the tranny fluid in a automatic 2000 Vette..GM didnt put a dip stick on this tranny..
On a 2000 Ford Ranger : On a manual transmission , underneath the vehicle , on the transmission will be a fill plug . With the vehicle level the fill plug is cleaned and removed to check the fluid level ( the fluid level should be at the bottom of the fill plug hole )
The transmission fluid is added down the dipstick tube.
Remove the plug from the bottom of your 2000 Chevy transmission. Allow the transmission to completely drained out. Return the transmission plug to its original position. Fill the transmission with new fluid.
you fill it the same way you check it same hole
You fill transmission with fluid through the transmission fluid dipstic tube
You add the fluid down the dipstick tube.
THERE IS NO TRANSMISSION DRAIN PLUG OR FILL PLUG. YOU WOULD FILL IT THROUGH THE TRANSMISSION DIPSTICK TUBE.
I believe the fill plug is on the driver's side of the 5 speed manual transmission - on a level surface , clean the fill plug before removing and check to see if fluid level is level with the bottom of the opening . If it is not add the recommended transmission fluid until it is.
There is no stick on a manual transmission, you check the fluid with the fill plug
There is no stick on a manual transmission, you check the fluid with the fill plug
On the side of the transmission there is a fill plug that is used for adding fluid. Fill it with Automatic Transmission fluid unitll it comes out of that hole. Then you know it's full. Macs Transmissions 281-394-4951 Macstransmissions@gmail.com
Yes, and that will cause shifting issues.
