I just went through the same hell trying to find it and I did. I own the Chiltons manual and its almost like they forgot to put a picture or location for it in there.
Its under the dash on the drivers side, opposite side of the steering wheel from the fuse box (closer to the radio)
You have to take the one medium sized interior body panel off with all Phillips screws. there is one on the side and 4-6 if you crouch down and look up while kinda leaning with your chest on the drivers seat.
the flasher in this car (88-91) is very unique and abnormal. Every car I have ever seen uses a similar looking flasher that resembles and Relay. THis car however doesnt. its way larger. it also has a wiring harness coming out of it instead of the 2 or 3 blade style "plug-in" flashers. it doesnt look like your typical flasher. and its more expensive (paid $23.50 on 02/06/06 from the dealer) it uses a single Phillips screw to hold it up.
You cant buy this part at your local NAPA, KRAGEN or auto parts store.. believe me I tried. I had to order it from the dealer (which is an hour away)
This will depend on what year Nissan Maxima you have, because they differ for their location. Ask another question and be specific about the year, for example, "Where is the flasher located on a 1996 Nissan Maxima?"
The 1983 Nissan Maxima is equipped with for flashers, one on each corner of the vehicle. The flasher relay switch is located beneath the dashboard in the passenger compartment.
1991 Nissan Maxima 3.0 liter SOHC V-6 (VG30E)
The 1999 Nissan Maxima turn signal flasher unit can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard. The turn signal flasher unit will be above the gas pedal.
The fuse to operate the turn signals on a 1995 Nissan Maxima SE is called a flasher. The flasher unit is located under the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle.
yes as long as they are both sohc or both are dohc engines
they are the same
I am paying $195 parts and labor in my 98 maxima
The 1993 Nissan Maxima transmission is interchangeable with any 1991 through 1995 Nissan Maxima models. The transmission mounts might be slightly different.
5 bolt i think
Yes , the 3.0 liter V6 engine in a 1991 Nissan Maxima has a timing BELT ( P.S. - it is also an interference engine )
