AnswerI believe the flasher relay for a 1976 107 is located above the fuse box panel, which is located in the at the passenger's foot well. You can gain access by removing the shroud underneath the glove box, or by removing the glove box. You'll find about a 1/2 dozen relays there. One of them will be for the turn signals.

Activate the hazard lights..you'll hear it clicking. I found mine next to it...I forgot which side it was on. Most of those relays there are the same. You need to go to your local MB parts dept for that relay since its very specific for the car...they will know which one to give you.

• When you remove the glove box, there are 4 2 piece pins holding the box in place. Use a large, flat blade screwdriver, and carefully remove the pins...the sleeve easily pulls out...don't lose those pieces.

• • When you remove the large plastic shroud underneath the glove box, be careful. It's actually 2 pieces. The smaller rear piece slides into the front piece. Mind the electrical wire to the interior light...you're limited as to how much play you can have there...its tight. There should be 2 or 3 screws holding this panel in. Remove the screws and the panel should drop down by itself.

That'e not all true.....the flasher for the 107 body 450 sl is the hazard bottom usually in the center consal next to the shifter. It works as a hazard bottom and a flasher.
