if it is the same as the 2.3 4 cylinder 97 model, the freeze plug is behind the manifold at the bottom of the engine on the right side facing. The space is ver tight and will require some hand bending and some needle nose pliars to get it out. Does this help.
You need to specify if its the 4 cylinder or the 6 cylinder. If its the V6 then its going to have several of them. Even the inline 4 will have a couple. And the 92 has a different engine than the 97, even if its the 4 cylinder or the v6. The 91 and 92 used Chevy engines, 93 and newer have the Isuzu engines. Post the type of engine you have and where you think the leak is coming from. I can better help you from there.
