my guess is the fuel filter for the 07 silverado is right under the driver side door but that's just a guess i wouldn't think they change where it would be located it its easy to get to
***WRONG WRONG WRONG*** I'm not sure why someone would get on here and "guess" at an answer like this. I'm probably late and this won't help you but maybe it'll Google up for someone else and help them later.
There is no changeable fuel filter on a '07 Silverado. Previous models used a return fuel system which cycled the fuel in a circuitous route from tank to engine and back again, with the engine picking up what fuel it needed out of that. The '07 and newer Silverado doesn't have the return fuel system. Only fuel that will be used by the engine is sent there. The filter is located in the fuel pump module and is not a serviceable part. The reason is that it will not be filtering thousands upon thousands of gallons of fuel in it's lifetime, as with the previous fuel systems. It will only be filtering what fuel the engine needs, which means the fuel filter will most likely outlive the fuel pump, creating no need to changed the filter. Hope this helps.
