Where is the fuel filter located on a 1998 Mazda b3000?
On my 1994 B3000 pickup it is located inside the frame under the drivers side door.
The fuel filter is attached to a bracket located on the drivers side of the engine compartment. Look down in the space between the master cylinder fluid reservoir and the rear of the air filter compartment, you will be looking at the top of the fuel filter cannister. It's hard to get at. You will have to take off the air filter box. Go to Mazda forums for more complete details.
There are two fuse panels; one on the power distribution box in the engine compartment located over the driver's side fender and one above the driver's footwell. The PCM (Powertrain Control Module)is located on the passenger's side of the engine compartment, along the upper edge of the firewall. - Haynes Repair Manual #36071
The thermostat housing on the 1998 Mazda 626 6 cylinder is located underneath the air filter housing. You need to remove this air filter housing to get to the thermostat housing. There's two (2) bolts the left connecting the thermostat housing to the motor and another two (2) bolts facing the steering wheel connecting it to the engine. This is where the thermostat is housed.
