Looking from the front , I believe the fuel pressure regulator on your 4.0 L OHV engine is about 2 inches to the right of your oil fill cap on top of the engine
Yes , it's near the engine oil fill cap and tube extending from the valve cover
I don't know if your 1992 is the same as my 1995 , but looking from the front it is about 2 inches to the right of the oil fill cap on mine
If it is a 4.0 the regulator is mounted right front on the engine, obviously on the fuel rail
Along the fuel rail; after the fuel injectors.
The voltage regulator is attached to the back of the alternator with 4 torx screws for the 1991-1995 models non-integral type.
Does not have a regulator. There is a sensor on the driver side fuel rail under the upper intake manifold
On a 1995 Ford Explorer : No ( at least my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT doesn't )
On a 1992 Ford Explorer : The voltage regulator is mounted on the back of the alternator
where is located the fuel injector presssure regulator on a 1999 ford explorer 5.0 liter engine?
where is the fuel pressure regulator 2006 ford f350
On my 1995 4.0 L OHV engine , looking from the front , it is about 2 inches to the right of the oil fill cap - I don't know if yours is the same .
I don't know if it's the same on your 1997 Ranger , but on my 1995 Explorer 4.0 L OHV engine , the fuel pressure regulator is on top of the engine about 2 inches to the right of the oil fill cap ( when looking from the front )
