Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a 1995 silverado?
It is located under the plastic intake manifold plenum. It is an internal design because it draws it's vacuum from within the plenum. New answer: A 1995 is TBI (THROTTLE BODY INJECTION)
tHE REGULATOR WILL BE FOUND ONTOP OF THE TBI. HOUSING JUST BEHIND THE 2 INJECTORS.
only the vortec engines have it under the upper intake plenuem.
Fuel Pressure Regulator is located on the fuel rail. Fuel Pressure Regulator 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. 2. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure. 3. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube(s). 4. Remove any necessary components to access the pressure regulator. 5. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the pressure regulator. 6. Remove the pressure regulator attaching screws. 7. Remove the pressure regulator from the fuel rail. To Install 8. Discard the O-rings on the…
fuel pressure regulator is in the tank, in the pump assembly 1995 it is NOT in the fuel tank. Later models it is ON the fuel tank, but this model has it on the fuel rail. I believe under the intake manifold. It is on the pump, in the tank. There is no regulator under the intake. Some fuel rails have a pressure damper on them, that looks like a regulator.
I have a 99 Saturn SL2. Believe it or not, the FUEL FILTER (YES, THE FUEL FILTER) HAS the pressure regulator built inside the filter. That's why the filter costs FORTY DOLLARS at Checker Auto. (Auto Zone wanted $67) I'm getting it replaced tomorrow...Feb 19,2008. The filter on my car is located in the rear underside of the vehicle in front of the gas tank.....left (driver's) side....rear of the car. > > This is true…
What causes an interminit low idle stalling problem in a 1995 Buick Le Sabre Custom I've changed the inigination modler and the altinator. The car stalls while restarting from a stop at red lights.?
I would almost bet your problem is the throttle positioning sensor( located on top of the engine and slightly to the left of center) my problem was the fuel pressure regulator!! after driving the car pull off the vacuum hose on your fuel pressure regulator, if you get any gas that comes out the vacuum hose ,your fuel pressure regulator is bad!!! this was a major headache that i finally fingered out!!! :)
