Look at the passenger side of the fire wall under the hood and you will see a black plastic cover that is bolted onto the fire wall with 3 nuts holding it on. Remove that cover and you will see the fuel pump relay and fuse. It is stamped into the cover which 1 is which. Read it.
Pull the fuel pump fuse.
Whats next to check on my 1990 Chevy 7.0 for fuel not getting to carb. I have replaced fuel filter and 10 amp fuse?

Well..... Our Chevy Trucks fuse box is under the hood up front with the engine. Drivers side of truck under a very secure plastic box. It says Fuse-Relay Center on the box.
It is in the fuse panel. It is the ignition fuse that goes bad and keeps the truck from firing.
Chevy did not use a INERTIA switch. Need to check fuel pump relay and fuse.

You will have to remove the fuel pump fuse are relay to shut the fuel system/pump off.It don't have a cut off switch.
