Where is the fuel pump on a 1990 Chevrolet k1500 with a 350 i was letting someone replace my wiring harness for the tail lights and they cut the fuel pump harness as well i rehookd thewires wnt start?

Fuel filter-on the frame, inside the(C) about 4inches long and 2.5 round,grey metal, lines bolted both ends, gas down your arm into your armpit, (((((CRAP))))).I do not think that is your problem though, I bet you still have wiring grimlins, To help you test stuff, The fuel pump will run for about 1 second when key is turned on NOT STARTED, It will not run when you turn it off and back on, It takes about 20 seconds or more for PCM to reset, BUT, You can start fuel pump again by bumping the starter for A split second, Again the pump will run for about 1 second, You can hear the pump from out side the truck, NEW PUMP-very quiet,,,WORN PUMP-more noise. If you can hear it running over the sound of the engine its prety bad,,,, Hope this helps,,Good luck, Jamison
