The fuel pump is in the gas tank, you will need to remove all the bed bolts on the driver side of the truck and loosen all the bolts on the other side of the bed and do not take them all the way out. unhook the wireing harnes by the back bumber also. then remove the 3 bolts on the filler hose were the gas cap is. now raise the bed up from the driver side high enough to get to the top of fuel tank. block the bed up so it won't fall on you. Unhook the battery. Now un plug the wireing harens where the rubber lines go into the top of the tank,now remove the rubber fuel lines from the tank. You will see a medal ring that holds the sending unit and pump in the tank. Tank a hammer and chisel and turn the ring counter clockwise until it comes loose. now lift the unit out of the tank. now follow instructions that come with new unit. Then put back together.
