You must remove the back seat, there is a small plate about 8"X8" with 4 screws. remove the plate and there is the fuel pump. the relay harness plugs into the top of the fuel pump, it is one whole piece. so if you need a new relay, you're going to have to change the pump. it is still fairly simple. you should not need any special tools.
