A 1987 Jeep Cherokee does not have a reset button. The fuel system is computer controlled.

Doesn't have one.
The fuel pump cutoff switch is in the trunk next to the driver side taillights. It is under the carpeting and has a red pushbutton on top.

It should be located in the rear cargo area, possibly on the right side. It has a button on the top you push down until it clicks.
There isn't one.
Was wondering the same.. for a Fuel injected 1987 Mazda 626 non-Turbo According to a Mazda dealer I just called. There is no reset switch. The Fuel pump is located in the gas tank. and the Pump Relay is on the firewall of the passenger side. Regards, Yanek What do you want to reset? "Check Engine" codes can be reset by disconnecting the battery for 5-10 minutes.
On my 1987 Fleetwood, there is a button on the dashboard labeled E/M. Pushing this button changes the readings from English to metric and back. Hopefully there is a similar button on your vehicle.
peel back the carpet on passenger side firewall, look towards the center of the vehicle-you will see a little black box with two wires coming out of it and a white rectangular button on top .this is the fuel inertia reset switch. peel back the carpet on passenger side firewall, look towards the center of the vehicle-you will see a little black box with two wires coming out of it and a white rectangular button on top .this is the fuel inertia reset switch.
IIRC just remove fuse 37.
Where is the fuel reset button on a 1987 Ford econoline royal coach van?
To reset the radio on your 1987 BMW 3225is hold down the on/off button. Once the radio blinks twice you can choose the first radio station that you want set. Follow this on the rest of the buttons and your radio will be fully reset.
