Thanks.You may want to try swapping out the Mass airflow sensor. Start the car up and open the hood. Tap on the mass airflow sensor. If the car boggs down and wants to stall. That may be an indication that you should replace it.

I have the same problem, but i have a '95 Monte Carlo but its the same bodyframe and my passenger door wont close. I have to either slam it to get it shut, or spend an hour or so playing with the door hinge....like my passenger door, when i open it up, you know how its got that grabber thing to make it grab on to the metal latch to shut it? Well, i have to open that and play with it, and the unlock/lock button to get it closed
