On a 2000 Lincoln LS : The fill for the fuel tank is on the PASSENGER SIDE of the vehicle The fuel tank is under the vehicle , it is almost like 2 smaller tanks that are joined together at the top . The JET PUMP transfers fuel from the drivers side of the tank to the passenger side where the FUEL PUMP for the engine is located
On a 2000 Lincoln LS : It has ( 1 fuel tank ) but it is almost like two tanks that are joined together at the top . In the top of the tank on the drivers side is a jet pump / transfer pump that pumps fuel over to the passenger side of the tank . In the top of the tank on the passenger side is the fuel pump that supplies fuel to the engine
