i on't have a 99 but it should be in the same place as most late model chevy's--driver side, inside the frame rail, inline with the fuel filler. get under the truck and take a look. you can't miss it. its a big gas tank looking thing with a big filler neck hose connected.
It is inside of the fuel tank, You will have to drop the tank down are raise the bed up to remove it from out of the top of the tank.
NO.
it is in the fuel tank
The arrow goes toward the engine.
Drop the gas tank. Unplug the FSU. Unscrew the FSU. Screw in the new FSU. Plug in the new FSU. Bolt the tank back on.
It is located with the fuel pump in the top of the gas tank.
In The Gas Tank. Good Luck
The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. The fuel tank must be removed to gain access to the pump.
make sure your fuel tank is free of debris, same thing with all fuel lines and fuel filter
You'll need to drop the tank. Then the fuel sensor/fuel pump comes out through the top.
Drop the tank, take it off. and put a new one on!
