Please go autozone.com; under My Zone, enter year, make, model, and engine size. Click on repair info, vehicle repair guides, chassis electrical, scroll down to circuit protection, and click on fuses. There you will find all the information you'll need, you migh need to scroll down towards the bottom of the page to find your year and engine size. A cigarette lighter fuse is normally a 15 or 20 amp fuse depending on what other accessories are using that circuit. I doubt that it is a 30 amp fuse. Maybe someone installed the wrong fuse.
Maybe someone wanted to stop someone else from using it?
Just listen to what they are asking. If they ask you for a light, light it for them. If they ask you for a lighter or a match hand them your lighter.
Well it's very simple you take it in and get someone to fix it for you!
No. Someone else can go more in depth...
usually about 45 psi
I wish someone would answer. I have the same problem. All three outlets dead.
Find a local electronic component distributor. One such place is www.standardsupply.com. I suggest that you contact someone local.
The best thing to to with a car cigarette lighter is get rid of it. I had one start a fire in a car once. After that I have never left a cigarette lighter in a car. I throw them away. You could save it incase you ever sell the car and someone wants it. It is best not to let anyone smoke in your car or boat pilot house anyway. The light from a cigarette interferes with your night vision. Also the smoke gets on the windshield and streaks it up. Also if someone is smoking around you I am sure you don't want to breath in all that crap. If some turkey has to smoke it is best to tell them to take it outside.
on unanesthetized skin it feels like someone is holding a lit match to your skin or possibly a cars cigarette lighter on your skin.
I think you need a tool, Im trying to get mine out right now in my 08 as well and it seems impossible...someone help lol
Herpes is spread by skin-to-skin contact. If someone has genital herpes, their herpes lesions, presumably, are not in contact with the cigarette. Therefor, you can't get herpes from sharing a cigarette with someone with genital herpes unless they're putting the cigarette somewhere near their genitals.
In Canada go to CTC and buy a generic cigar/cigarette lighter and plug it in the proper hole in the dash:-) .But I bet you meant lighter socket? If so answer is totally different. To prevent person's from disposining of vehicles via fire insurance that socket for the lighter is protected by a fuseable link which is built into the wire feeding the socket.Check it first.Borrow a lighter from someone else's car to make sure socket is dead not just element in lighter.
I just read on here somewhere else that if the radio is still working the problem may be a small brown wire on the back of your actual cigarette lighter that needs to be redone. good luck
A dog end is a cigarette butt, the small stub of cigarette that is left after someone has smoked it.
You won't get syphilis from smoking with someone who has it.Syphilis won't be passed after smoking a cigarette.
One cigarette is equal to three hours dope session.
Its a 30A fuse in the middle of the fuse box in the glove box, bottom row to the right of the spare fuse. Hope that helps mate.
It is possible, but not likely.
a cigarette effects the mood because it could effect the brain of someone by chemicals
If you look in from the passengers side front door there is a fuse access door near where the passengers left leg would be when sitting as a passenger. The small 20amp fuse is for the cigarette lighter and the power door locks. There is a white plastic fuse puller attached to the removable panel. Under the hood behind the battery (unless someone used it already) in the fuse panel there, there should be one spare 20 amp fuse there.
Cigarette smoke "stays with you"; if you smoke or hang around someone who does, the smell of the smoke will stay on your clothes & in your hair.
Anything is possible.
