Hope this can help you. There are 2 fuse boxes under the hood. One next to the battery, the other next to the windshield washer fluid bottle. The one by the washer fluid bottle is not referenced anywhere in the various manuals I searched. The low beam fuses, I believe it is a 15A, for the low beams are in that fuse box. It is covered with a black plastic housing that can be removed by pulling up. Fuse location diagrams are located on the outside cover. Review the location diagram. There are 4 fuses for the headlights one each for high and low beams. Hope this is helpful.
You must remove the front bumper!
The panel containing the Headlamp fuses for the 2003 Altima is in the right front corner of the engine compartment. It is in front of the Alternator. This panel is vertical and each lamp has its own fuse, Low Beam-Front Left, Low Beam-Front Right, etc. There is a clip holding the panel in place.
is there fuses for high and low headlamp beam on almera
The Low Beam AND High Beam are in the same bulb. The procedure to change it will be in the owners manual.
# 7 / 10 amp / left low beam headlamp # 8 / 10 amp / right low beam headlamp # 23 / 15 amp / high beam headlamps
I did this not too long ago in my 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5SE....It's actually not that hard. On the driver's side, you have to remove the factory air intake (just remove the hoses and it pops right out). Then, just unscrew the whole rear casing for the headlight (takes about a 1/4 turn). Remove clip, replace bulb, re-assemble. Voila! FYI - on the passenger side, same thing, but you have to remove the washer fluid reservoir. Good luck....
( # 4 ) is a 10 amp fuse for the left headlamp , ( # 8 ) is a 10 amp fuse for the right headlamp and ( # 33 ) is a 15 amp fuse for the high beam headlamps
Yes , it's fuse # 25 , 10 amp , left headlamp ( low beam )
heres the site that shows all the specs for the light (high/low beam, fog..etc..) http://www.eautoworks.com/html/bulbSearch-2005-Nissan-Altima.htm
To change the headlamp bulbs is easy. But getting access is not. You have to jack up the car and then turn the steering wheel one way or the other to gain access to the inner wheel well and its liner. Removing the pins on the liner will gain you access to the rear of the headlamp bulbs. H9 (High Beam) or H11 (Low beam). Remember not to touch the new glass bulbs with your hands or you will shorten their life due to the natural oils in your finger tips. Be very careful(base only) or just use gloves.
