A blown fuse. Or a connection problem within the instrument cluster
The instrument panel cluster fuse can be found in the fuse box. The fuse box is located in the engine compartment. The fuse will be in the second column, third from the top.
The fuse is mounted in the fuse box in the right hand side of the engine bay. you will have to unclip the lid of the fuse box and the instrument cluster fuse is no.3
I'm not sure if the following fuses are for the dash lights - the owner's manual lists them for " instrument cluster " location # 11 - 7.5 amp fuse for instrument cluster location # 15 - 7.5 amp fuse for instrument cluster location # 33 - 15 amp fuse instrument cluster/headlamps/DRL module
The instrument panel fuse block access door is located on the driver side edge of the instrument panel. Pull off the cover to access the fuse block . The fuse you are looking for is number 20
I had a blown 25 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood mounted on drivers side fender, it was labeled for power outlet, I believe it was fuse #11. I removed the other 25 amp fuse for the other power outlet and installed it where the burnt fuse was and my instrument cluster worked. It was not labeled for the instrument cluster.
The fuse that controls your Instrument cluster on a 2000 silverado is going to be linked with your radio fuse. Look in the fuse box under the hood, (upper right hand side, driver side) and look for a fuse labeled radio. It should be a 10 amp. If it is good, then cluster and radio fuse is good.
The iod fuse is blown or removed.
That's probably for the instrument cluster.
If the instrument cluster on a 2002 Envoy is not working, check the fuses. There is a main fuse for this under the hood on top of the battery.
One fuse protects the instrument cluster (all the gauges). It should be a 5 or 7.5 amp mini fuse located in the inside fuse center. If the fuel gauge is the only gauge not working, it's not the fuse.
