There is no dipstick for the gearbox
the punto has a filler/level plug on the front of the gearbox
12mm Allen key fitting
hope this helps
A 1996 Punto 55 uses a single point (non-direct) fuel injection system. Later models adopted a multi-point injection system but none of the Fiat 1.1 engines use direct injection.
Fiat do not issue torque settings for a punto they use angles so that you can snap your stretch bolts! after contacting fiat and haynes neither of them would give proper torque settings, so i delved into my many tech manuals on fiat fire engines which is what is in your punto and i have successfully changed many fiat punto head gaskets using the following torque settings: stage 1 starting from the centre head bolts tighten to 33nm: stage 2:65nm and finally stage 3: 96nm these torque settings work fine and will probably save you buying new head bolts.
Under the rear seats. Remove 3 screws from the metal plate and there it is.
Idle settings 0.8 bar (11.6 psi ) to 1.2 bar ( 17.4 psi ) best wishes Mike 2
In a nut shell you cant adjust pedal height of any car. Unless you spend serious money on an exotic sports car.
i asume you know your spanners so to help you on your way the torque settings are Fiat Punto 55/60 1.1/1.2 engine make sure you use new bolts ect. Your punto has bad earthing to the light clusters, clean up all your earth connections and if this does not solve it re earth the light clusters using a piece of cable from the body of the car to the black cable on your light cluster plug.
80-90 Gear oil
Need to get to them they freezing up from rust
I had a similar problem on my Punto, turned out to be a sticking EGR (Exhaust Gas Re-cirulation) valve. The valve was staying open and suffocating the engine, the ECU forces the engine into a type of 'panic mode' providing more fuel to make up for the "missing air", which is why the revs increase which clears the problem momentarily. You'll find that your fuel usage will have increased too. I would recommend you find a garage that does diagnostics which will identify the failing part. A good garage will charge you about 40 to 50 quid for the diags, and they can recommend replacement components to resolve the issue. The garage I went to actually removed the valve, cleaned it and put it back in. Fiat will charge more for the diagnostic, replace the component no matter what condition it is in, and only use Fiat parts that could be expensive. Hope this puts you in the right direction anyway. 40.5 kW / 55 PS / 54 hp is the power of the fiat 131 Mirafiori coupe 1975 engine and its maximum speed is 180 km/h (110 mph).
WORKING FROM THE FRONT; YOU NEED A SIZE 17 SOCKET ON A TBAR.THE ALTERNATER IS ON DRIVER SIDE AT THE BACK.THERE ARE THREE BOLTS TO LOOSEN (DONT TAKE THEM RIGHT OFF) . PULL THE ALTERNATER TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE CAR, SLIP BELT OVER CRANK PULLEY THEN OVER ALTERNATER PULLEY .LEVER ALTERNATER BACK TO TIGHTEN BELT,THEN RETIGHTEN 3 BOLTS
The red water warning light is an indication your engine is overheating. The red battery warning light is an indication that the charging system is not working properly.
Start by reading aloud three chapters of any Shakespearean play while boiling 55 large white eggs. Put on your mama's underwear, and nothing else, while dancing around your vehicle in circles, waving the dipstick in the air. Open the hood to the vehicle. Sacrifice a small animal on the air cleaner. Now you can slide the dipstick into the opening at the end of the transmission dipstick tube. You're done.
The maximum speed of the 1973 Fiat 128 wagon with a 4-cylinder, 55 HP engine is 112 MPH. This engine size could be tweaked some to increase the horsepower and overall speed performance to gain up to 10 MPH more.
there is no oil dipstick. The oil can be checked electronically from the dash computer system. On CLK 320 there is however a dipstick tube and a cap on it and same for the automatic transmission . ZD Mak tools and Samstag tools sell dipsticks for Newer model Mercedes but the dipstick should not be left in the oil dipstick tube -- only use for checking oil level with engine not running . The AT dipstick however is inserted while car is in park , engine running but is also not left in place . Very easy to overfill AT so only add 200 cc ( baby bottle and slim ,rolled paper funnel works well ) between measurements . AT fluid level not at all prone to dropping unless leaking which is rare on newer models .
Its a very simple job, undo the two Allen keys either side of the instrument cowling, lower the sterring column using the red height adjuster and pull the instrument pod towards you. undo the four connector blocks (two each side top and bottom) then pull the pod clear. The lights untwist at the back a quarter of a turn. They are different colours meaning different wattages - try autobulbsdirect.co.UK for cheap replacements.
55 + 55 = 110 55 - 55 = 0 55 / 55 = 1 55 * 55 = 3025
This means we have 5 groups of 55.5 x 55 = 55+55+55+55+5555+55+55+55+55 = 2755x55 = 275
55% of 55 = 55% * 55 = 0.55 * 55 = 30.25
