==flasher module?== I think I found mine under the dash above and to the left of the hood release lever. It's yellow and a bugger to remove. I only THINK I found it because the replacement I bought at the parts store is missing the small un-numbered prong. Front seating area, behind steering column cover, on left hand side of steering column. I bought a replacement flasher at pepboys(part # EP27) It din't work in my ranger. So I bought another at the Ford dealer and this works. The flasher looks like a relay( http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?mfrcode=TRD&mfrpartnumber=EP27 ).the OEM flasher usually is blue.
The multi function switch should be INSIDE the steering column cover ( the turn signal lever and hazard flasher button stick out of the cover )
