you should be able to find the fuse in the boot or in the front fuse location. however if you ac heater blower is not working, the most ( the is very common) common problem is the ac blower final stage blower resistor is faulty. a skilled tech can replace it in under 5 mins. it is about $120 from the dealer. or a skilled mechanically inclined person can replace it also, just remove the shielding under the glovebox, no screws, just push and pull it down. then to the left in the center console area you will see the connector and the back of the final stage, just remove and replace, and your done. good luck.

the most likely cause is not a fuse but the final stage blower resistor, its very easy to replace, it located near the right side footwell vent duct. remove the trim panel under the glove box, and the resistor is very visabl along with the connector, remove and replace resistor, experienced tech takes about 5mins. to do. good luck.

The power steering fluid reservoir is located next to the oil filter on a 1999 BMW 540i. The reservoir will have ATF written on it.
